A couple of weekends ago @tokyodrivecarclub and @web_option hosted quite possibly the coolest event I’ve ever attended in Japan. Invite-only, inside an industrial warehousing garage, spread over multiple floors... with the best of the best drift and show cars from across the country. I’ve never seen a unique event with so much style and variety. The unlimited free @redbulljapan on-tap also ensured I didn’t miss a single shot, and also couldn’t sleep for three days.

A special thank you to every car owner and photographer I caught up with at the event. For me, getting to hang out together and film your cars was even more meaningful than the event itself. I’m so fortunate and grateful to have met you all across the last two years visiting and living in Japan, and thank you for making this special country feel like a second-home to me.

All along, I’ve had one mission. To capture the Japanese car culture—and do it properly. 18-months ago, I sent it solo all the way across the world. Filmed cars, met some of my best friends, and ate hella yakiniku. 12-months ago, I worked with Jacky and HKS and my passion for the legit Japanese car scene grew even stronger. 6-months ago, I became a resident of Japan and dropped everything back home to live my life here. Cleanest SR’s in Japan 🇯🇵🚀

Absolutely awesome day out at SR heritage with @no6sx and the crew. So good to be having a close look at the Japanese car scene and mobbing with the cleanest and nicest kids in town. Takumi’s S15 blew my mind, the bodywork and small attention to details are just delicious.
